Catherine Goulding

I qualified as a VN in 1992 and gained the Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing in 1998, after working at the QMH, RVC. I have worked as a lecturer, emergency night nurse, internal verifier, and I am currently the senior surgical nurse at the Small Animal Hospital, University of Liverpool Veterinary School.

I am normally found underwater at weekends as I am doing my Dive Leader training with BSAC (British Sub-Aqua Club) and I am also the assistant co-ordinator the the North West region for the marine rescue charity, British Divers Marine Life Rescue. I have a Border Collie called Jess.

All of BVNA council have specific jobs; I am responsible for maintaining the website, so if you have any suggestions for further content, please get in touch. I also sit on the BVNA education committee as being an assessor I feel that continuing education plays a huge part in both pre and post qualification.
