BVNA are aware that people are often looking for jobs within veterinary practices throughout the UK and BVNA offer a service that could help you find a job or an employee.

RESULTS OF THE 2007 BVNA/SPVS WAGES SURVEY
This survey was undertaken by the British Veterinary Nursing Association with support from the Society of Practising Veterinary Surgeons. The survey is a representation of wages paid throughout the UK to veterinary staff including Qualified Veterinary Nurses, Degree Qualified Veterinary Nurses, Head Nurses, 1st Year Students, 2nd Year Students, ANA/VCA’s and Other Nursing/Reception/Office Staff. The service is called the BVNA Employment Register and offers two ways of providing assistance:-

1. Situations Wanted

BVNA enters all details of candidates onto the Employment Register and this information is sent out on request to veterinary practices who have a vacancy. This Register is updated every month.

Details of candidates will also be listed on the BVNA website encouraging practices to contact us to request candidate details that match their own requirements.

2. Situations Vacant

Practices can either request a copy of the Employment Register and candidates details who match their requirements or they may also list details of a vacancy within their practice on the BVNA website and interested candidates send in their CVs to BVNA and we will forward these directly to the practice.

BVNA's aim is to help people find positions within veterinary practice and to help practices find successful candidates to meet any vacant positions within their practice.

Help us to help you and use the BVNA Employment Regiser, click on to the Situations Wanted or Situations Vacant pages within this section to find out more.
