BVNA Confirms Donation to the British Hen Welfare Trust
BVNA President, Sam Morgan, is delighted to announce that a total of £3,552.18 has been raised in aid of the associations chosen charity of the year ‘The British Hen Welfare Trust’.
The donation totals £3,552.18 and was collected through various events including regional raffles and charity events, congress raffles, donations and competitions, a sponsored abseil and not forgetting the auction of a large duck and paper dog at the congress dinner dance!
BVNA would like to thank everyone involved in helping raise this money. It will certainly help the British Hen Welfare Trust as they have just had a planning application to build the UK’s first dedicated welfare and education centre at their base in Devon.
