2015 is a big year for the association. As well as celebrating our 50th Anniversary, we're continuing our focus on nurse well-being. Our survey last year pointed to some worrying trends that appear to mirror those seen in the veterinary profession and we are working with Vetlife and alongside other associations to address these. Watch out for more information on our Well-being campaign during the year.
You can't fail to have noticed (we hope!) that the BVNA CPD offering has continued to grow with the Wound Management certificate course launched last year and the Nutrition certificate in November. Uptake has been very good and we're pleased to say that training days for the wound course have been sold out and we anticipate similar uptake for the nutrition course. This year, we'll continue to make education a key focus. As part of this, we're looking at matching our CPD offering with your career stage, so that we have something for everyone, from the student nurse right through to the diploma holder or very experienced nurse. Again, watch this space!
