BVNA can help you. BVNA offer a service called 'Employment Register'.

This service works as follows...
Candidate information and job requirements are recorded and kept on file by BVNA for a period of 4 weeks.

Details of candidates include:-

• The region of the country they would like to work in
• Candidates qualification and experience
• Position sought i.e. Student Veterinary Nurse, Qualified Veterinary Nurse, Head Veterinary Nurse, Student Animal Nursing Assistant, Animal Nursing Assistant, Receptionist, Practice Manager.
• Practice type
• Position details: full-time, part-time, permanent, locum
• Package details: salary, hours of work, accommodation

BVNA also promote candidates listed within the Employment Register on the Employment Register section of this website.

Veterinary practices with a vacancy contact BVNA and request information on candidates suitable for their region and meeting their job requirements ie., qualified, student etc.

The veterinary practices will contact listed candidates directly to see if they are interested in apply for the position they hold vacant etc.

For this service, if you are a BVNA Member there is no charge, if you are a non-member you can still utilise this service but at a small charge of £15.00 per 4 week period.

You can remain listed on the Employment Register for longer than 4 weeks but you will need to contact BVNA to renew your details otherwise your details will have expired.

If you would like to have your details recorded on the BVNA Employment Register, either download a copy of the form in PDF format or contact BVNA via email or telephone to ask for copy.
