Review for Wiltshire and Dorset Regional Meetings

Lungworm

Joy Howell from Bayer came to speak to us on Angiostrongylus Vasorum Lungworm. Joy provided an extremely lively and entertaining presentation on the importance of recognising cases of Lungworm, their lifecycle and treatment. With the run up to Bayer's campaign to increase owners' awareness of this parasite it was an ideal presentation.  Everyone left with an increased knowledge of this parasite and stomachs full of yummy pizza!!!!

I would like to thank Bayer for providing sponsorship for the meeting, Great Western Referrals in Swindon for providing the venue and final Joy for a wonderful presentation. We look forward to Joy's next meeting in June at Lynwood School of Vet Nursing Dorset.
