National VN Week 2009
19th - 25th July
VN Week kicks off on Sunday 19th July at Southsea Common’s Castle Field in Portsmouth & Roundhay Park in Leeds.
Between Friday 24th and Sunday 26th July there will also be an event held at the CLA Game Fair in Belvoir Castle, Leicestershire. The CLA Game Fair is the world’s biggest and greatest country sport and countryside show and is a great three day event for all the family to enjoy. Remember VN Week is about celebrating your profession so get involved & shout the word!
We want veterinary nurses to be proud of their profession and help us by promoting veterinary nursing as a profession by getting involved. With your involvement we are able to get the word out to the general public on how important your role is in the veterinary practice and how important you are!
You could hold a fund raising event like car or even dog washing, sponsored dog walking, free health checks in the practice, displays in your reception, hold open days in practice, anything to promote your profession.
Plus, if you take part by designing a waiting room display you could be in with a chance of winning some fabulous prizes.
So what are you waiting for..........get planning and become part of the nationwide campaign to shout the word about your profession!
