BVNA National Veterinary Nursing Awareness Month May 2013

National VN Awareness Month helps create awareness of the importance of the veterinary nursing profession and the provision of responsible pet care.

National VN Awareness Month 2013 will be held during May. The decision to move the month forward from July (as in 2012) was instigated as we felt this would enable Colleges & Universities to become more actively involved before the end of term, and also, practices found that with staff holidays at their height during July, it proved difficult trying to organise events with sufficient cover. Also, with two Bank Holidays in May, we hope that the general public will be out and about during these weekends, thus providing a larger audience and greater attendance at those events that are being held outdoors.
