Record Numbers Register for Veterinary Nursing Week 2010
Sunday 18th-Saturday 24th July

Over 260 veterinary nurses registered online to take part in this year’s VN Week celebrations, compared to 40 applicants received in 2009.
BVNA are delighted that more and more veterinary nurses are getting involved in promoting their profession and look forward to seeing this continue to grow into a nationally recognised event.
Events across the country ranged from organising waiting room displays and holding practice open days to sitting in a cage dressed as a bear! Many nurses also organised fund raising events such dog washing, skydiving and a charity dinner dance. The competition entries closed on Friday 13th August so look out for the deserving winners and details of the fantastic events that took place in the VNJ.
Don’t worry if you were too late to register for this year’s event as there is still time for you to organise something to raise funds for this year’s charity, the Moon Bears.
BVNA are extremely proud of the veterinary nurses who worked so hard to promote the profession during this event and would like to congratulate everyone involved in making this year such a great success.
