Reptilian Hospitalisation Management, Stabilisation & Anaesthesia

The Reptilian patient is very different from our normal canine and feline patients - what should we do, considering the anatomical and physiological differences, when an reptilian patient is in for any procedure which may include an anaesthetic?

The talk will look at what the nurse can do to ensure the reptilian patient is in a stabilised condition prior to anaesthesia. It will look how anaesthesia should be managed and then will consider the necessary management that a nurse should undertake while the reptilian patient is hospitalised.

There will be plenty of opportunity to discuss experiences and to ask questions
