Oral Care Nurse Certificate

Online course available for Registered Veterinary Nurses

Delegates already enrolled have until 31 July to complete the learning and assessments.

The British Veterinary Dental Association and The British Veterinary Nursing Association have joined forces to offer a bite sized course worth 9 hours of CPD!

The programme, proudly supported by Pedigree & Whiskas and our media supporter, VN Times aims to provide nurses with the knowledge and skills to deliver effective oral care clinics, drive awareness of oral health and identify pets that are in need of oral care attention.

To enrol and gain the Certificate you will need to be an RVN and complete all 4 modules of the online course.  This includes a series of webinars, instructional videos, short tasks and a final MCQ assessment paper.  Please note that in order to complete the short tasks you must be working in practice or be able to visit a practice in order to undertake a dental examination on an animal under anaesthetic.

To ensure that you meet the minimum entry requirements please read the Terms and Conditions prior to completing the enrolment process.  Please note that although the course opens on 4 March, you can register at any time right up until 2 weeks prior to the course close at the end of July 2019.
