RESEARCH PROJECT: Outcomes of treating UK wildlife species within veterinary practice

As part of their regular workload, veterinary surgeons in the UK are often asked to provide treatment to injured wildlife.

BVNA Member Fay Allen is carrying out research for her FdSc qualification at Sparsholt College and this will focus on the outcomes of treatment provided by veterinary practice, co-operation with wildlife centres and whether there are variations in these outcomes between species.

This information may help paint a clearer picture of how wildlife is being treated in UK practice and which species have the best outcomes.
