RCVS Day One Skills for Veterinary Nurses

Day One Skills is the minimum standard required for a veterinary nurse student to register with RCVS.

They consist of general professional skills and attributes expected of newly-qualified veterinary nurses along with practical and clinical competences expected of new veterinary nurses.

RCVS Day One Skills for Veterinary Nurses is a list of essential practical skills that can be referred to by all veterinary nurses whether they use a Nursing Progress Log [NPL], Central Skills Log [CSL], or an e-portfolio.
